Interview: Anne

Answers Anne:
1. One or two times a month.
2. Mostly in the afternoon or in the evening.
3. I order often the Quarter pounder or Chicken nuggets and I go to the McDrive mostly.
4. No restaurant feeling, feels a bit sleazy a bit like a feeding shred.
5. Yes! I remember the times that I was very happy with the toys that came with ordering a Happy meal!
6. When people visiting the McDrive some have to open their car door to get their order because they stand too far away of the ordering window, haha.

Answers Paul:
1. One a month.
2. Mostly in the afternoon or in the evening.
3. I order often fries through the McDrive.
4. Messy and a lot of dirt and waste.
5. Yes! They had almost the same product when I was a kid.
6. Nothing actually. It is a boring business with a lot of trash everywhere.

Answers Hannah:
1. 5-7 times a year.
2. Very different actually, sometimes in the evening to get an ice-cream, sometimes around lunchtime.
3. Mostly I order a Filet o fish and fries or a McFlurry. And I order inside.
4. Chaotic, crowded, cheerless.
5. 5. When I was a kid I went to the McDonalds with friends for there birthday party and I was very exited to go there and get that present from the Happy meal.
6. That I was shaking my Fristi while I opened it already...

Answers Peter:
1. One or two times a year. When I was younger I came there regularly with my kids.
2. Mostly in the afternoon.
3. Mostly I order a big fries with 2x mayo, Chicken nuggets and a Big mac.
4. Factory atmosphere, crowed and cheerless.
5. When I was a kid there was no McDonalds.
6. Back in the days there always was this very annoying sound when you ordered food inside. And once there was this drunk guy who ordered food and tried to eat it but it was everywhere except in his mouth haha.

Answers Zoë:
1. 4-5 times a month.
2. Mostly in the afternoon, in the evening or around midnight.
3. Nine out of ten times I go through the McDrive. Mostly I order Chicken nuggets a Cheeseburger or a Happy meal.
4. The mood is not so great. I get the feeling that the people who work there don't have fun in doing their jobs.
5. Yes sometimes, I remember that I always loved it to go there, especially the McDonalds Playground and the Happy meal with the toy!
6. That there was a mentally disabled man who was half deaf, who was yelling against me and my friend about how he hated masks so much and that his bus only arrived after 45 min. Everyone looked at us very funny.

3. I order often the Hamburger menu and I go sometimes inside and sometimes to the McDrive.
4. Modern, looking sleek and cares for.
5. Never went there when I was a kid.
6. I have had non of these moments haha. It is always very quiet when I come there.

5. Yes! I remember the times that I played in the McDonalds Playgrounds.

3. I order often the Big Mac menu and I go to the McDrive mostly.
4. Not very cosy, just a greasy atmosphere, haha just kidding.
5. Yes! When we came back from a holiday.
6. I always found that clown very weird, and all the images of him...

Jessie: 23 years old

1. Think 1x per month on average
2. Around 4pm for a quick bite
3. I get standard chili chicken and small fries (sometimes ice cream afterwards) and I actually always eat inside
4. I always feel a bit fat right away, literally and figuratively because of the smell
5. Sure! I can still remember that they had "totally spies" toys in happy meals and that I had to have them haha, I wend 4 times in a week to McDonalds.
6. I gave my first kiss in the sun outside McDonald's. It was at primary school with my boyfriend (we were 9) #wasawesom.

Maarten: 23 years old

1. I order mcDonalds about once every 1.5 weeks, so about 3 times per month
2. saturday around lunchtime i order mcDonalds most, i visit an actual mcdonalds mostly in the evenings when making roadtrips
3. most of the time I order either a chicken mcNugget menu or a Big Mac Menu
4. like when 'Unwritten' by Natasha Beddingsfield starts playing: I know its wrong but i love it
5. only three times a year. Usually when going on or returning from vacation and we'd been in the car for 10 hours. My parents hated the roadside restaurants because of their poor food, mcDonalds is consistent so you know what kind of food you're gonna get (and the kids loved it)
6. We were playing videogames and ordered mcDonalds on a hungover saturday. We won the game (which is incredibly difficult) and 10 seconds after the mcDonalds arrived, like some sort of victory meal

Jona: 24 years old

1. I think I go to McDonald's maybe 4 or 5 times a year.
2. If I go, it will be in the afternoon or in the evening.
3. Most of the time I will order a burger menu, something like the BigTasty with bacon.
4. Not really a specific feeling.
5. We almost never went to McDonald's. Only sometimes when we came back late at night from our holiday, then we would go through the McDrive and me and my sisters would always get a happy meal.
6. Back in High school we had a gymnastics course in the sixth grade, where we would go wakeboarding for a few times. After that we would go with a group to McDonald's, that was always pretty fun.

Kosja: 20 years old

1. 1-2 times a year.
2. About 6 o’clock.
3. I always order strawberry milkshakes, larges ones! Most of the time I eat inside.
4. Well, I think it is a very terrible place with disgusting food.
5. I remember enjoying the Mac. As a kid it is a lovely place with places to play. Also the toys you receive within your meal are great. How did they call it… I guess Happy Meal.
6. Once I ate at Mac and saw a whole football team entering te building. Not just a football team, it was like Ajax or something. It was incredible

Evi: 19 years old

1. two times a moth
2. most of the time i visit the mcDonalds on lunch time
3. I enter the McDrive then order patatoes with mayo and veggie nuggets and a apple juce, this i will eat for lunch but i also always order a chocolate muffin for after my lunch. Then i will drive to the side of a medow and with a beautiful view on the medow i will enjoy my McDonalds lunch

5. Yes, i always remember that if we went on a holiday and we saw a McDonalds sign me and my brother would yell enthousiastic to my parents that we wanted to go their and we always did. We ware so happy then!
6. ones we were on ski holiday and we were on the way back to home. We had been driving the hole day and it was christmas day too. At the end of the day we were so hunry but there was no restourant in the near to celebrate christmas day so eventually we ended up in the McDonalds and it was very bussy and cossy there, it was the best christmas day ever!

Lieke: 25 years old

3. Always order a medium chicken nuggets menu with sweet and sour sauce and a loose hamburger or a happy meal with hamburger.
4. I am usually hungry and happy when I can almost eat.
5. yes sometimes with children's parties or after vacation and was really very nice.
6. Pfoeee with friends there when we were in high school and then we would order a lot and stack all the boxes on top of each other 😂
